Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Production Readiness Audit System ("PRAS", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PRAS is an automated code quality and production readiness audit tool that analyzes software projects for potential issues including mock data, missing error handling, incomplete features, and UX polish issues.

The Service is available in multiple forms:

  • Command-line interface (CLI) tool
  • Web dashboard and API
  • GitHub App integration
  • CI/CD pipeline integration

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful software
  • Use the Service to scan code you do not have permission to analyze
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Exceed API rate limits or abuse the Service resources

5. Code and Data Privacy

We respect your code and data:

  • Your source code remains your property
  • We only analyze code you explicitly submit to the Service
  • Analysis results are stored securely and associated with your account
  • We do not share your code or analysis results with third parties
  • Open source projects analyzed via the CLI may have results publicly visible

6. Subscription and Billing

PRAS offers multiple pricing tiers:

  • Open Source: Free forever for public repositories
  • Pro: $29/month for individual developers with private repositories
  • Team: $99/month for teams up to 10 members

Billing terms:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings
  • Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by TE Code and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

The PRAS CLI tool is available as open source software under the MIT License. The web dashboard and API are proprietary.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Analysis results will be 100% accurate or complete
  • Defects will be corrected within any specific timeframe
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TE CODE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service
  • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in analysis results
  • Any reliance on analysis results for production deployments

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TE Code and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

  • Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Sending an email to your registered email address
  • Posting a notice on our website

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TE Code operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
